    Jobroller:Blog is not really a blog

    Today I have activated the blog part on my Jobroller test site - using a child theme (thought this was relevant, but it does not work on the parent theme either). After doing a couple of posts, I went to check what it looks like on the front page. I have the following observations:

    1. the loop uses "the_content()" and the only way to get an excerpt is by using the more-tag
    2. also, trying to utilize a modified loop.php in a child theme fails, because the file in the child theme folder (proper hierarchical position) is ignored
    3. comments do not work: hitting the comments bubble (which links to an anchor #respond) does not do anything


    Could somebody please verify my observations with their own install, so I can maybe start isolatingthe issues?
