Some more: on translated strings not being used in the live site...

    Strength indicator
    >> Very Weak, Weak, Medium, Strong and Mismatch, in the .po file it's translated but not in the live site, hope this will be functioning as well in the next release just like it's been promised that it's been fixed for the translation of the text: Strength Indicator

So, I've checked out the registration/sign-up page, the page where you can create a new account, and there's some more issues with translated strings not being used. Also, it can differ when displaying the error messages, it depends what combination of fields are filled in or not, sometimes the error messages are not even displayed, depending on the combination.

    <strong>ERROR</strong>: Invalid username or e-mail.
This string is translated in the .po file but not used in the live site.

<strong>ERROR</strong>: There is no user registered with that email address.
This string is translated but in the .po file but not used in the live site.

<strong>ERROR</strong>: This username is invalid because it uses illegal characters. Please enter a valid username.
This string is translated but in the .po file but not used in the live site.

<strong>ERROR</strong>: Please enter the password twice.
This string is translated in the .po file but not used in the live site.

<strong>ERROR</strong>: The passwords do not match.
This string is translated in the .po file but not used in the live site.

    <strong>ERROR</strong>: Please enter a username.
    > Error message is not displayed when trying to register without a username.

<strong>ERROR</strong>: This username is already registered, please choose another one.
    > Translated string is used in site...

<strong>ERROR</strong>: Please type your e-mail address.
    > Error message is not displayed when trying to register without e-mail address.

<strong>ERROR</strong>: The email address isn’t correct.
    > Translated string is used in site...

<strong>ERROR</strong>: This email is already registered, please choose another one.
    > Translated string is used in site...

    <strong>ERROR</strong>: Please enter a password.
    > Translated string is used in site...

    <strong>Notice</strong>: Please select a role.
    > Translated string is used in site...

<strong>Notice</strong>: You must accept our terms and conditions in order to register.
    > Didn't test this one, not seen on -the first- registration.sign-up page.

    Didn't test the following strings:
    <strong>ERROR</strong>: Enter a username or e-mail address.
    <strong>ERROR</strong>: Couldn't register you… please contact the <a href=\"mailto:%s\">webmaster</a> !
<strong>ERROR</strong>: The reCaptcha anti-spam response was incorrect.
<strong>ERROR</strong>: Incorrect anti-spam answer. The correct answer is
    <strong>ERROR</strong>: Invalid resume.
<strong>ERROR</strong>: Only pdf, zip, doc, txt and rtf files are allowed.
<strong>ERROR</strong>: Only jpg, gif, and png images are allowed.

And there's probably a lot more (on that form/page and others).
But can you imagine I'm a bit done with this, buy now? Getting a little dissatisfied (and maybe frustrated) with this whole translation-b.s. Where's the end to it? When is it gonna work? Some more translation-b.s. going on with the child theme, though the problem is a bit different. This is just gonna take a lot of time and energy before it's out of the way, every time something new pops up. And you know, probably this is caused because it's all layers on top of each other, on top of wordpress. That's why it's buggy, but hey using wordpress; it's marketing, it's a sales tool. But it seems to be a headache as well.
