    Update does not work

    I have the AppTheme Updater installed in Jobroller and I'm trying to update and it says it's updated bt I still have the old version installed 1.7.4 It says my theme and plugins are all up to date. How can I upgrade to the new version?

    Also, I have lot's of spam postings on a daily basis. There are about 2000 spam postings - how can I prevent this from happening?
