Adding Lots of Categories to Vantage Theme is Slowing "listings" Loading Time Way Dow
Hey apptheme community. I seem to have a problem. I am building out a directory site with vantage theme, but every time I bulk upload categories (or tried tags instead too) of like 4000 cities as the category... then the "listings" pages and slow way down..... takes like 10-20 seconds to load and even times out. the rest of the works fine, just once I added these categories.
I know it's this b/c as soon as I deleted them all, the site loaded fine again.
A directory site should be able to have that many cities if necessary, no? There is got to be a way to use all those cities in vantage without it slow way down.
Any insight and help is greatly appreciated.
