    Category links not pointing to posts

    None of my catagory links are pointing to posts within the catagory and the site claims none can be found.
    I googled this issue and learned it was a bug fixed with a new release of vantage, but I do not want to upgrade as we have done heavy customisation that would be lost.
    Can someone please clarify what the fix was exactly so that I may amend the code manually
