Claim Listing Filter out Scams Span Vantage Pre-Sales Question

Ok, Not really sure why the "Pre-Sales Questions" forum would be locked?? Any reason??

I guess i'll have to ask the question here.

I'm looking to buy the Vantage theme but I'm confused about how the "claim listing" works. From reading

I get the impression that "Anyone" can claim a listing as their own even tho they man not even be the owner of the business. Is this correct?
So a spammer can claim a listing and put spam links into the listing?

I did not see any information as to how the administrator would go about fileting out real and not real claims?

Would staff members or current users of the vantage theme shed some light on this?
