Expired events still showing when event has multiple dates

Hi!

There is a bug with the expiring for events.
It works fine if the event has just one date or multiple dates but they are all in the past. Then the event expires as it should

But as soon as an event has multiple dates and some of them are in the past and some are in the future the event displays
on the event page but with the first date, which might already be in the past. What it should do is display the first of the event's dates
that are in the future.

Can you please confirm that this is a bug and tell me a time frame in which it will be fixed?
It is very annoying to always go and edit the event to get rid of the dates that are in the past if you have a recurring event.
