Favicon and Default Image Problem

I think favicon should be allowed to change from the Customize menu. This is very basic functionality.

I replaced the favicon image but it doesn't reflect until I clear the cache . It didn't happen with my other wordpress theme. They allowed to change it form customize menu and was immediately applicable.

Same thing with default image. New image doesn't apply even after one week unless you clear the cache.

Also the background colour and image doesn't work properly and there is no help on it. It just gets applicable to top portion.

Need to make these basic functionality very easy to use or else need to have information on how to customize it.

I used Customizr theme and they have custome CSS option on Customize .

Also adding anything in the header widget is a pain . If i add image in the header widget it just distorts the image proportion.

No easy way to fix these issue which is frustrating because aesthetic on homepage are so important.
