How to create different color theme in Vantage

I am curious and really want to stand out from the competition. I want to create a different color for my theme currently not installed in Vantage. ie. brown. I am referring to the search area in the header, title area, links etc. I noticed the current colors are called from a folder with the css file inside. ie. blue, green, red etc...

Is it possible to create a file say, brown.css and make the color changes in that file? Will this work or would I need to do more editing in the code in another file? Thanks in advance!
