Mailto: function for listing profiles does not work

1. Select one of the listings on the homepage
2. Click the email address of that listing, if applicable
3. Observe
The mailto: function is not working properly. When you click someone's email address on the website, it leads to a blank page. It should open the user's default email client so they can email the person intended. However, it just opens a blank webpage in Chrome, or does nothing in Firefox. When I review the code using Developer Tools, everything appears to be fine (HTML), which leads me to believe it's a JavaScript error. Please let me know how to handle this.
