    no email notification when a new listing is added

    I am not receiving the notification email that lets me know when a new listing has been added to the site. I see that the problem was reported and resolved by a previous poster who was advised to re-install WP and Vantage. What happens to my child theme and modifications should I take this step? Will I lose all customizations? The website is www.thenaturalhaircaredirectory.com. Thanks
