Renewed membership, expired listing?
Dimistris, I know that there have been a ton of issues that've come up relating to expiration dates (and I know this because I've just searched through ALL of them to see if someone else has come across my issue before), so I hate to add another one to the pile, but hopefully this will be an easy fix. It might just be that I'm missing a setting somewhere.
It's actually pretty straight forward. I have a user who paid for a monthly plan. The plan settings are such that 'Listing Duration/ Recurring Period' is set to 30 days. The plan automatically renewed (as in, I got another payment from PayPal), but yet the listing expired.
I wouldn't have even noticed this had I not been so acquainted with my customers and noticed that they were featured on the homepage like they normally are.
It was easy to manually add another 30 days to the listing, but I don't want to have to do this manually every single month for every single customer, so I wanted to reach out and see what we might be able to get worked out. Thoughs, ideas, suggestions?
One thing that occurred to me was that maybe the plan was set to expire/recur every 30 days and the payment plan was set to 1 month, so maybe there was a 1-day difference between when the listing expired and when the payment took place, but I can see in PayPal that it was, in fact, 30 days. I've since changed the plan to 1 month instead of 30 days, just to be more accurate though. Oh crap...is that going to break things even more? That just occurred to me.
