Search in Vantage still doesn't work

I have the latest version of WP and the theme. I just created a listing for an Italian restaurant in a specific city. There are many parameters that specify Italian, restaurant, city - tags, categories etc. and the search result still does not bring up the listing result I just created. Vantage theme lacks even the most basic search functionality, guys. Can you PLEASE address this in your next release. I have very high hopes for a site I am working on. You have responded to a few similar threads with some circle speak nonsense about how everything is fine. It isn't fine. The theme does not work properly with this release. Make the search parameters work on a more specific level based on tags, location please. Thanks for your time.
