User with role SUbscriber can STILL create Listings

Hi,

We are using Vantage 1.3.2 where the default role for users is Contributor. I have tested a Subscriber user as I need to allow less featured access to users just to comment and rate, and I figure out that the Subscriber can STILL create listings and events.

Is this how it is supposed the theme to function?


If yes (which is a bit defeating the purpose of the Contributor role introduced in Vantage 1.3.2 as default), how I can manipulate the code to add a lower level of theme features access on the front end as for example:

1. Contributors - as it is expected having full use of vantage features

2. Subscribers - just profile view, possibilities to comment , rate and put in favorites ?
