403 error on search page

Every time I put a ' symbol in the search I get a 403 forbidden error. It is not a plugin issue, so please don't refer me to that thread. There is a serious problem with the search functionality of the Vantage theme this company is selling. Essentially, search does not work when certain characters are added to the search name. I need this resolved ASAP.
