Recurring Subscription Can't Be Turned Off

There's no special field or custom field to turn off the recurring subscription for listings. Currently, customers would have to delete the pre-approved payment if they changed their mind and wished to cancel.
It would be easier if:

1. the customer could turn off the recurring subscription from the listing(maybe in edit). Then they could delete the preapproved payment at Paypal.
2. admins could turn off the recurring payment from the listing extras area in the wordpress backend. Then the admin could also recommend they delete the preapproved payment at Paypal.

This would work better especially if a customer has had a listing for six months and decided they didn't want to renew, wanted to use up their 6 months, and/or didn't want to delete their listing so it could be relisted in a year or two.

Sometimes, the customer wants the site to stop the payment. Rather than just pointing them to turn off the preapproved payments at paypal(which can sometimes be difficult to find), we could shut it off. I've looked in the extras and custom fields but can't find anything for recurring payments to do this.
