azlogistics.com - my ClassiPress-based logistics directory

hi all,

this is my logistics directory site. i've been working on it for several months now. i've been waiting for Vantage patiently, and in the meantime i'm using ClassiPress theme. it's version 3.0.2, because it allows me to use some plugins that are really useful.

thanks guys. i'm glad you like it. it would look even better if all business owners submitting their listings added their logos or some kind of image, and write longer descriptions. unfortunatelly i can't make them...

Just added few more mods to the theme:

- since I'm using it as a directory, I figured I should make sure visitors can see address and contact information for each listing on the home page, in search results and each category. So I removed description (the first 150 characters) and replaced it with address and a phone number.

- replaced the standard no-thumb image with a custom image better fitting the website and logo.

- added little notes to the "add new" form, reminding people submitting listings to include full description and at least one photo or image. It really seems to have helped - haven't had a listing without a nice description and image since.



- replaced a "Random" tab with my own custom tab "Latest Logistics News". Don't see a need for random listings tab, but daily news is what makes visitors come back.
