Improve "Showcases & Feedbacks" project together

Hey guys,

Yesterday, after facing the "showcase and feedback" section of the forum, I prepare a quick idea about something we can built together. As simple as making a directory (ALL FREE) where you can post your AppThemes based websites and moderators decide if your mod it is a "HARD ONE" or simply it is a plain installation of the original theme. Also we can make a developers directory (FREE TOO) where AppThemes users can find the properely person to make changes to their websites.

Agree on this? I can not achieve this alone since have a lot of work at office from monday to friday. So Mr Green, Spymare, Ahikmahin, also forum moderators are invited to make this project together. Ideas? Let's make a brainstroming here.

So, I'll put in consideration what I've done concerning design until now: a childtheme based in ClassiPress as a HONOR to the one and only...

I am not sure how it will works .. mate..

can you please describe a bit more?...

AppThemes USERS:
1. Can post their websites FOR FREE as showcases and get backlinks + comments + feedbacks
2. Can comment, ask, feedback or whatever (as WP comments) to all listed websites
3. Can look for developers to make changes to their sites
4. Can contact developers in order to buy their childthemes, plugins or whatever

AppThemes DEVELOPERS:
1. Can be part of the Developers Directory FOR FREE
2. Can post websites they already made to their clients FOR FREE as showcases and get backlinks + comments + feedbacks (this also works as examples in order to sale their work to other AppThemes users)
3. Can comment, ask, feedback or whatever (as WP comments) to all listed websites
4. Are responsibles for deciding listed websites are HARD MODED or simply plain installation of the original theme
3. Can contact other developers in order to make projects together or for whatever
5. Can write posts (as part of the blog) for some of their relevant showcases describing everything they want or need to explain in a very detailed way
6. Can sale plugins and childthemes via the website

As I mentioned before. This is a first brainstorming, so WE CAN build it together as a team. New functionalities or whatever to be implemented must be posted here as ideas and together we'll decide what must be done... if there are real interest in this since we do not want to spend time for nothing.


FINAL CONSIDERATIONS:
- Only AppThemes WORLD (users, clients, developers, themes, childthemes, developments)
- Also WordPress general advices, of course
- The childtheme to handle the website must be based in ClassiPress (as a HONOR to the one and only)
- As less plugins added as possible. Let's handle this as a pure development of the childtheme.
- Lets clean the original ClassiPress theme in order to have only the neccessary and make the website FASTER without any cache plugin.

Im not sure I am getting it right, but should there be made a new category, where only people who are member of the AppThemes DEVELOPERS, should be allowed to post in?

but without apptheme team it will not success..i guess...

I am with you not sentencing request
but I want with us Pespi, Bluecafe, Vienna, Hugo, Cloudybright, Spymare Pershin and some other skilled people
online all the day & mature people

like you know we are all busy so we need money to work more

I think we need to create some small packages
then redistributed the money in the group (like mass payment)

and only members who bought this package
have access to this mature advice

have free part like directory listing with recipro in thema >okay

a directory listing with excellent plugins open to external people >okay

and again advice on WordPress to> is good idea

as you know there are a lot of young here
trying to remake the world with a few simple ideas in mind
guidelines should be established clearly

and I speak with knowledge of the things I have a 22-year-old daughter

Absolutely AGREE with mr green.
- We can have a premium section for really interesting advices, tips, tutorials in order to pay the authors and people involved... this is a very nice feature. So users paying x$ per month will have access to that section... GOOD!
- Of course we do not need inmature people as part of the administrators, we only need mature persons to achieve this. Serious persons. Not important the age but their behaviour, their conduct and actions... GOOD!

@ahikmahin:
I think AppThemes collaboration it is VERY important but not imperative. I do not know why you say "but without apptheme team it will not success" since we are planning just to create a new project with better organization (just from my point of view) and the possibility to create a REAL directory for developers experienced in ClassiPress since AppThemes have not made this yet. BTW, if you like I can send you an email I received straigh from David concerning this where he told me they are too busy with themes developement to handle this "Certified Partners" area --> Certified WordPress Theme Partners | AppThemes
... so after this, why not to make it ourselves? Sharing our knowledge, sale our job as childthemes, plugins, advices, tutorials,,,, or whatever?

not necessary
it could be a 1 time package user have comments by persons who take time to browse his or her site and take a real advice or what they think
about this business


What do you as I do here?
watch topics from unzip theme and lose time to given free advice to people who already know everything or who is sick not
