Why would you include Google Ads that show your exact competitors driving viewers away to other classified sites? Bad way to monetize! Especially if you realize that the keyword that is bringing up these ads is ''Classifieds" that does not have a CPC value of more than .05 cents?

I actually re-loaded your site for a few times at intervals, and all I get is your competitors ads by Google; ironically the Adsense console is placed 'strategically' on top of your own classifieds!

Even when you are charging for listings, it is unfair to yourself and your advertisers to block your own flow and the readers' attention.

For all who are reading this, remember: Google Ads are a big 'No' if you are actually selling something of your own, including classifieds. They are good for articles and content. Good luck all.

Excellent point Themeswitcher.

In a site where you are trying to sell your own product stay away from google ads.
Go to any website, even information sites, that are very popular and you will see that most, if not all have dropped google ads.

They all work from affiliates. search out affiliate links and work from those. they are much more profitable and you can target the areas you want.

I appreciate all the feedback. About AdSense, yes its not the best idea to allow your competitor to get cheaper links in your site. I've stopped few of my "competitor".

But, putting AdSense have helped me to get my running cost lower as I'm still not having good sign up rate on direct paying advertiser. Until I'm able to sell direct to advertiser, i believe AdSense is needed to supplement all the cost involved.

I use a lot of strategy to get advertiser. Some of them is send SMS to advertiser, involve in forums, and some advertisement.

But, there is long way to go as this not the only place available for people to post free ads. Need to have your own niche to get into better positions

@ malaysiads site is fantastic though he header part of the site seems too much conjusted and the right and left sides are totally ignored , i means using left and right sides could have done allot to make it more attractive and easy for users.
could you please share the method to get the URL such a way you have on http://malaysiads.com/..
