Concerning the search nothing important have been done yet. Just a plugin to add a dropdown to the actual search, choosing one of the custom fields in the backend... see the example here http://web9.ioptimas.com/

As you may know all of us, the ClassiPress users, we are waiting fot that new version upcoming to keep the job rolling

Your suggestion sounds spectacular and it is a pity I don't have so much free time in order to achieve this

Wow - really like both those sites - the shopping site is wonderfully bold - lovely to look at (I LIKE those colours) and the one with the extra search field, iconic categories. Really eye-catching, gorgeous colours - great idea for the categories, very smart. Well done as well for building that extra search facility. 3 search fields - I'm jealous. How did you do it? (In words that an amateur can understand).
