    A new Classipress site

    Hi all

Have recently finished up a new fairly heavily customized Classipress site using it as an events listing website for Melbourne, Australia.

    Take a look at http://mycitylife.com.au

    Cheers

Your modification looks good. It just seems the header graphics is pulled to the left side when viewed on a wide screen monitor.

That looks awesome If you would like your site to be added to the Showcase please let us know.. I don't think there is an example of an events site in there so it would make a great addition!

    Thanks for the replies!
@ jomarkosabel, yeah we need to take a larger photo to replace the current one.
@ pepsi, that would be great to be featured in the showcase. Do I need to send screenshots or anything or do you guys take care of that?

    Cheers

Great modification. Did you modify the slider that comes with classipress or did you use another one? I also like the category menu on the front page. May I ask how you realized this? If I were you I would include this menu in every side not only the front page.

The slider is a simple slider from CSS-Tricks. For the menu we have just used wp_list_categories and put a jQuery popup on the list. The link for the popup is here if you want to check it out http://jqueryfordesigners.com/coda-popup-bubbles/

Looks great! After all your hard work will you be upgrading to ClassiPress 3.1 when it is released?
