Our modes to our site.

Okay, we have transformed Classipress into an ALL-IN-ONE.

Our mods:

1. You can view ads from your chosen state. Each chosen state will only show ads from that state just like the front page of a classipress site.
2. We have a fully functional 'Refine Search'. Choose your category, type in a city and if that city has any ads in that category, they WILL show up. Price is fixed, you can use a comma or no comma and it works GREAT!
3. Businesses can list their place of business and users of our system can rate and comment on any of the businesses listed based on their experience with that business. This type of rating system only shows up in our Business List category and subcategories. Doesn't show up in any other category.
4. If your ad expires and you want to relist it again, you can choose to relist as a Relist FREE Ad, Featured Ad, or Delete Ad. The choices were never a part of Classipress and we wanted the users to have a choice.
5. We modified the 'Recent Listings' look to suit different categories with key information from the ad listing. (i.e. Real Estate --#bedrooms, #baths, etc. and Vehicles --- Year, Mileage, #cylinders)
5. We are currently having an 'Upload Resume' option for our 'Job List' category and subcategories so users can attach their resumes when they contact the poster on the contact form tab. This function will only show up when an ad is in the 'Job List' category or subcategories. It will not show up in any other category. This feature should be done by the end of the day.
6. We are currently having additional information added for our 'Real Estate' category and subcategories that we know would be a valuable asset to any classified website. This feature should be done in a couple of days.

As you can tell, we've been adding to our site and it's pretty much an ALL-IN-ONE site. Check it out at www.eddieslists.com

I like the clean look. However, I have noticed that you are still using WordPress 3.3.1 and ClassiPress 3.1.7 and so it is always recommended to upgrade to the latest version of WP which is 3.4.1 and Classipress which is 3.1.9 for security and for bug fixes.

Anyway, I am moving this thread to the Showcase and Feedback section.

Were not upgrading to Classipress 3.1.9 because we have a fully functioning version of 3.1.8. We paid hundreds of dollars for someone else to fix what was wrong with Classipress 3.1.8.

However, we had a problem with 3.1.8 but not a problem with 3.1.7. W couldn't get the ad to automatically publish when the user made a payment so we replaced Classipress 3.1.8's tpl-add-new-confirm.php file with Classipress 3.1.7's tpl-add-new-confirm.php file and the problem was fixed. So, if something was not wrong with the previous versions file, why is it broken with the new version file. See our dilemna?

Plus, there were still problems with 3.1.9 that existed since 3.1.7, so what was the point to upgrade to 3.1.9. We didn't want to spend the money to have it fixed again.

The current version of Word Press we are using, isn't broken. So, why replace? Plus, once we have everything done, we're going to pay someone to find security problems and and fix them. So, it will probably cost us alot of money to do that.

However, we are very proud that we have a fully functional version with everything working like it was intended. Plus, some other additional features we felt was a plus!

Okay, so all the modifications and additions are completed to our site.
