    Remove Browse by and Tags Box

    I'm using the Simplux child theme and JobRoller 1.6.5 and would like to remove the Browse by (shows today, this week, last week and this month) and the Tags box that I cannot remove through the widgets dashboard. I would also like to remove the separator bar that appears above the box as well as below the box. I am novice and will need directions as well as code. Can someone please help?
