Modifications to the “Negotiable” Option

Hi Talent,

I like the option you’ve added to the ClassiPress Child theme Simply Responsive that adds the red text below price titled “Negotiable”.

This is a great feature but I”m wondering if it can be expanded.

1. Could the title on the form layout be titled Price Qualifier?

2. Could the field of Price Qualifier have a drop-down list?

3. Could the dropdown have qualifiers such as: Make an Offer, Contact for Price, Firm, Will Ship for Free etc.

I know this would probably require a “Custom Field” titled Price Qualifier but the beauty of the code for Simply Responsive is that it adds the word “Negotiable” below the price and I don’t think just adding a new Custom Field will automatically add other Price Qualifiers from a drop-down list below the price.

I’m thinking this is something that would need to be added to Simply Responsive in a future update or is it something that someone with some code revision skill and instruction can attempt on their own.
