Top menu options (adv)
Here are instructions to insert a top menu into TwinPress:
First you will need to populate the menu. You can do this via 'appearance > themes'. Create a new menu and insert it into the 'top menu' theme field.
You will then need to populate the menu, if you're running a network it's best to drop in 'links' from the list on the left hand side. Give the link item a name and a URL then insert into menu.
Save everything and your new menu should display correctly. You will need to repeat this step on all TwinPress sites.
Advanced:
To show the 'active site' style on all pages you will need to open the 'top menu' from 'appearance > menus'
Open 'screen options' in the upper-right and tick 'CSS classes'
Close screen options and open the menu item that corresponds to the active site (little grey arrow on the right of the link instance).
Paste 'current_page_item' without the quote marks into the 'CSS classes' box and save everything
This will keep the top menu active on every page of your site rather than just the homepage.
