Speed issues

Hi,

I am the proud new owner of Ultra Classifieds

The theme is really great, however I am stuck with performance issues I cannot solve

My performance index according to GT Metrix dropped from 85% with the default CP theme to 45% with Ultra Classifieds I use W3TC as caching plugin with the same settings as for the default theme (except for the minify settings of course) and EWWW to optimize the images. According to GT Metrics, the biggest issue is about serving scaled images instead of using HTML or CSS to resize them, which would reduce my home page size by 95%! I do not have this error with the default theme, so is there a setting I missed in Ultra Classifieds to serve scaled images ?
