Avatar (profile image) for all Vantage users

Hi everyone, I have added this to the 'Ideas Exchange' but need your vote: http://ideas.appthemes.com/vantage/a.../#comment-4371

I have tried 4 different plugins to have users upload a profile image under the "Edit Profile" page but not one of those plugins work with Vantage. After researching someone said that the hooks are not there in the Vantage theme. I know those using an image via http://en.gravatar.com/ will have a profile image but not all users will want to have an image attached to their email.

I personally would gladly pay for an Avatar plugin that was designed specifically for Vantage.
