Best Way to Achieve Page Formatting Used on viBreeze.com & Marietta.net
These two Vantage sites (
http://www.viBreeze.com & (
http://www.Marietta.net) use similar formatting for their home pages and business search pages. It is a big graphical improvement over the base, in your face Vantage home page 'big list'. Here is a partial view of the 'Restaurants' page from

These sites both seem to use a Wordpress plugin called 'bybrick-columns'. It is supposed to format your page in columns easily. Unfortunately the module is for
WP 3.3.2 (I believe that is it) and it does not work properly in my Vantage theme although it does seem to work on these sites, I believe. Both sites use 'thickbox', a similarly outdated plugin. The other obvious work around is to work with tables but that is a pain with Vantage and ClassiPress (and perhaps everything Wordpress) as table formatting elements such as 'cellspacing' and 'cellpadding' are totally ignored meaning that you have to make and add lots of little 'white space' graphic elements to fudge things. Doable but painful.
Has anyone else done something similar or would the builders of either of these nice sites be willing to divulge their secrets for making this come together in a reasonable fashion? It would be nice to know the modules used for sure and how to make them work properly in the Vantage environment.
Thanks for any input!
