Commenting out the map

Hi,

I want to create some extra php files pointing out to specific categories. With this tutorial http://docs.appthemes.com/tutorials/...pecific-pages/ it worked perfectly but on this category pages I would like to comment out the map feature.

The map should still be visible on the homepage but not on some others. How can I do this?
