    Excerpt Length

    I followed the advice from the administrator on how to adjust the excerpt length:

    Function new_excerpt_more( $more ) {
    return [50];
    }
    add_filter('excerpt_more', 'new_excerpt_more');

    Added this to the bottom of functions.php and my website has gone dead, have no access to site, nothing loads.

    Please tell me what to do www.holisticdublin.ie
