Function for category listing counts

Hi,

Check my menu on my vantage theme http://guide.curastart.nl
Im using Ubermenu for custom menu, got all listing categories well in the menu dropdowns, but i only need one more thing, show the listing counts next to each category, like this: cars (4), shops (9).
(just like the vantage category page works in the regular menu, but it wont work in Ubermenu, and i need the categories separated)

My question, what function do i need to add to my function.php in order to have all the listing-counts show next to each category in the menu?

Please help...
