How To Change Footer Font Color & Add FooterLlinks Line

Hi!

I can't find where to change the footer font colors. I have looked in the main style sheet, the color theme dependent one, and the footer.php file. It's really a minor point but I'd sort of like everything to be white against the black background plus now I really want to know where it is!

As a very secondary question (and this reflects a lack of php knowledge which is the case!), how do you add a links list below the footer. I know how to get to that point and have changed the copyright note. This is as much my curiosity as much as it really matters or not!
