How does the search function 'really' work? (where does it "pull" from)
We'd like to make sure our search funcionality is as robust as possible.
I know that the search box pulls from the listing title (page title), but what are all the other "areas" of
WP that Vantage "looks in" during a search?
Can you let me know if it "looks" in these areas:
1. listing categories ?
2. listing tags ?
3. body/page text?
4. author ?
5. reviews ?
6. alt text of images ?
7. title of images ?
8. title tag ? (using Wordpress
SEO by Yoast plugin)
9. meta description ? (using Wordpress
SEO by Yoast plugin)
*** If I forgot any areas, can you please tell me what they are? ***
10. Which are is "weighted" the heaviest? (which is the 1st/most important place the theme searches when searching for listings) ?
