How do I remove H1 from Site-Title in Header?
We are getting consistent
SEO warnings for having duplicate H1 tags on our Vantage listings, pages, and posts. This confused us because we only mark a single line as "H1." When we use various code examiner tools, we can see the problem is that our header is considered H1, and thus, any post name, listing name, or page name with an H1 tag, is considered a duplicate.
The code seems to be H1 wrapped around id=site-title, but we can't find that code in the header.php file, the wrapper, or any other files. We don't know where to look to make this adjustment. We'd like to take the site header down to H2, so that the titles of our listings, pages, and posts, get the "juice" of the H1 level -- and not our header and logo on every page.
