introductory content for listing categories ( or Editor text on listing pages?)

Hello,

I am trying Vantage after trying pretty much every directory theme out there.

I have to add introductory content for each category... (IMHO - a really great feature to add, if it's not yet possible, both for site look and feel (less cookie cutter) and for improved SEO!)

I managed to get the category description to show up on each category page, but now I can't format it. HTML will not work. See link below:

Please help with one of these? (in order of usefulness)

1. How can I insert an editable and formatable section of text for each and every page? (category and regular "pages") right between nav and regular content.

2. how to insert an editable and formatable section of text/images for at least each category page. (unique text on each page)
or

4. how to format category "description" text and add an image (html or, ideally and editor, TinyMCE)
or

5. If one can do a listing page for each category, how to get text inserted in editor on listing page template to show up right above listings and not as a "description of a non-listing)? (Don't understand -- why would this be disabled? why does the text come up as a description of a listing, when its entered on a listing page? ) Confused: What exactly is the listings page for? How does it work?

Thanks for your help. Your forums are one reason i switched over. It appears you have an actual team of support folks. At least it seems to be more than just one tired, beleagured, cranky guy able to help. : )
