Separate Archive Templates for Category & Subcategory
I have all 50 states as my main categories, then various cities as subcategories for each. What I'd like to do for the main category (state) pages is just show a list of the subcategories (cities) without any listings or any other content.
Is this possible? I've been looking into creating custom archive files using the wordpress category hierarchy, but that doesn't seem to work for custom post type categories...
Does anybody know how I might accomplish this?
