turn off Vantage browser resizing? Fixed width site needed

Hello there vantage community,

We need to turn off browser re-sizing in Vantage theme. It's messing with our images and custom sidebars. We just want a simple, fixed-width site. As in: no growing and shrinking as browser windows are resized. Would love everything to just stay put.

Apparently, this is not a theme option, but a customization. Anybody have any experience with this? Any insights to offer?
