Vantage Sidebar width

I've looked at other threads involving the same subject plus the response to mine and tried to make this work, but nothing seems to work. I can come close, but the elusive part to me is the divider line between the main content and the sidebar will not budge. I've tried everything that I can think of.

Quite simply, I need a sidebar width of about 320 pixels to accommodate banner ad sizes that will be running in that column. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
