Classipress - wp-login.php not working

For some reason, when I go to my URL and click the "login" link (to go to /wp-login.php), it does nothing.........but, if I go click "register" to go to the registration screen and THEN click the "log in" button, it will take me to the user login page.

Any ideas? It doesn't throw an error message it, just attempts to run, but does nothing in the end.

Hi JLC,

Please try with another browser and clear your cache.Also re save your WordPress->settings->permalinks.You can try to disable your plugins and see if there is a conflict.

I resaved permalinks, cleared the cache and disabled all plugins.....I even tried in Chrome with no luck, same issue.

I had a wp plugin "404 redirect" that I disabled, no I get the following Firefox error message:

Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.

This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies.

Could you please post the url of your website?

Ok, last three things i can suggest


0.Check if there are any errors in Classipress->system info.
1.re activate your theme.Activate another theme and then switch back to CP.
2.re install the theme, maybe something went wrong during installation.First backup your files and database to avoid any loss of data.

If none of the above works please send me your admin user/pass to check your install.First backup your files and database to avoid any loss of data.
