Also noticed that it overrides the settings site url etc.

It all works now. Thank you as this has been bugging me for some time, whats worse i knew it had to be something simple!!!

Yay finally that section finished with..... now on to sorting out other odds and sods lol.

It's a long time since I did that for a wordpress set up. I just go with sub-domains now and multisite.

Lol. just noticed that the post has come up twice including somithing that i wrote and then deleted (the last post) How confusing!!!! LOL.

Not entered the realm of multisites, though i know it will be on the cards in the not too distant future (yet another headache!!)
