Tried posting this into the presales part, didnt let me.

Is Classipress team planning to do a "marriage/dating script?", I would be the first customer and there are not many quality marriage/dating themes in the market.

Anyone else who would buy this?

Please let me know admin.

I too also would be very interested in that, as it is something I would like to use for my Jobroller theme. It would be particularly impressive if they could integrate this in. Else I wwould put it on a sub domain...

I dont think they got plans for that at all. Also it would be kinda a waste, there's already thousands of different dating solutions.

@jacgo: first of all, spymare has not posted in the last 12 months, so it is probably a fair assessment that he is no longer active on the site

As to your question: how do you see the specific advantage of a WordPress theme based solution, compared to other possible approaches - for the end user, not the website owner? (That is a question, that I also pose for the other themes offered by Appthemes, btw)

but I like wordpress. It help a lot people to create a lot of different features sites.

That's why I choose wordpress.

Hey Jac, that's fine. I have seen the plugin that you mentioned earlier, but I have no first-hand experience with it.

I was interested also, because to me there is no significant advantage to the end user, if you use a WordPress theme or plugin - it is just easier for the developer or site owner. In the past, I have reviewed a few stand alone products for a customer. However, nothing came of it, because of AVS issues at the time, so the customer scrapped the project. If you are interested, the product was called osDate, and iti s using the so called Smarty engine and templating system. (In the interest of full disclosure, I ahve no affiliation with them)

Its not a theme but an online package which is free.

there is no solid theme/plugin right now for WordPress yet.

But, combining few plugins with customisation can do the job.

- a nice dating/marriage flavour theme
- wp user frontend plugin
- wp membership plugin
- 1 advance search plugin
- user permission plugin and may be few more as necessary can do the job.
