I agree Yoast is a bit confusing in regards to configuring it properly, and I'm still testing it out as well. I logged in to your site again, as you mentioned the sitemap not working, as I'm not having that issue either (I have noticed that if the plugin is deactivated for any reason that you may need to go into the settings for the sitemap and disable it, then enable again for it to show up). Did you happen to test for plugin conflict by deactivating all of your plugins when you were attempting to set up the sitemap in Yoast? I did noticed a couple plugins,
WP Super Cache and Delete Duplicate Data (not sure why you are using this one), that could have the potential to conflict with Yoast..At this point, you'll need to decide whether you want to keep using the sitemap plugin your using now, or get rid of it (making sure the file(s) are removed on your server) before attempting to work with the sitemap through Yoast again. As for the settings, I would recommend starting over by going to
SEO --> Dashboard --> General Settings --> Default Settings, and hit the reset button, but if for any reason your not comfortable doing this, I could run through all your settings and adjust them manually according to my exact settings, and you could then monitor what is working for your site, or where you may need to make adjustments if necessary..Whether resetting to default settings or adjusting manually will most likely will effect any
seo efforts that are working for you presently, just to let you know..
