    Will classipress completely change the whole look of my word press site?

    Will classipress change the whole look of my site or can I just make classipress a new directory on my site?

    Classipress is a theme and so it will change the look of your site if you use it instead. However, you may opt for installing a wordpress/classipress in subdomain so that your existing site will not be touched.

    How can I add it as a subdomain? I'm still learning as,I go and any help would be greatly appreciated

    You just install another instance of wordpress in the subdomain and use Classipress in it.
