WP login for JobRoller

Before installation of JobRoller theme wp login was working fine. After installing, the wp login redirects to the jobroller site. Once I deactivate the theme, wp login works fine again. Any one have any idea how to fix this? Thank!

Not sure what you mean by fixing the login. When you log in as an existing Wordpress user, you can access the Dashboard, provided you have set the level in Jobroller settings.

hi Domino, thanks for trying to help. When I set up wordpress for my new domain in the hostgator control panel, the system generated a url for me to log in to my wordpress. I bookmarked this url. I then typed in my domain name and my website appears with the default theme (which was not jobroller theme). Then I logged in at my bookmarked wp url, and was able to upload and activate the jobroller theme. After I logged out of wp, I tried to log in to wp again using the wp url that I bookmarked. The wp login page did not appear but instead, I was brought to my website which showed address as: http://mywebsitename.com/?page_id=8. Therefore I was subsequently not able to log in to wp.

If you want to access the WordPress Dashboard, you must enter http://yourdomain.com/wp-login.php - with Jobroller as your theme, you get redirected to the theme's equivalent of this login page. You recognize it because on the left, you have a form to register as either a jobseeker or an employer and on the right you can put your login details as administrator of your WordPress site.

This is a good piece of advice! Now I understand how JobRoller works as far as login to wp is concerned. Thanks a lot Domino, you really helped a lot!
