    Can not change Ads category order

    I would likt to change my Ads category order.

    There are 3 plugin installed.
    Category Order
    My Category Order
    WP Order Categories widget

    All failed.

    Is there any way to do it?

    Hi,

    I'm trying to do this also. I beleive you need to change the category ID and then choose to put it in ID order on the general settings page. However I can't quite see how to change this ID (if you can at all?). Just went through all meuns and can't find it, so if someone can let us know, it would be greatly appreciated. (have searched on the forum, but can't find an answer).

    PS it could be that the cat id is created in the order you created the categories, so seems strange that you haven't got an option to alter the order?

    After changing General setting "Category Order By:ID".
    I can not find category IDs but it might be a way to solve the problem.

    same case.. i cant find the Category ID.. can you provide the exact page or URL where to see this? i am very eager to fix this.. thanks in advance..

    Hi klauzser

    I can not find ID either. but you can create your category one by one. than go admin panel General setting "Category Order By:ID".
    The category will follow your steps.

    My English is poor. but hope you understand the solution.

    If you go to your ad category and look at the url address bar of a category it has the ID= and the number (position of category). However I do not know how to change this. Sorry.

    Just a thought you could add the categories again in the order that you want them, as i believe that the ID number is given to it in the order you add them, although I haven't looked at this and it's late here now.

    hey guys I need to change the categories order as well displayed on home page. Did you guys find any solution? If yes pl. let me know. If not, ... the developers of the theme have to jump in and take care of it.
