Duplicate Post Plugin

I don't know if this will help anyone else or not, but I thought I'd post it anyway.

I have 200+ sub-categories and I've found that for some reason WP and/or ClassiPress won't let me post a single welcome post in all of them. When I try it doesn't accept all the categories and for some reason deletes my "Description".

So I used this plugin to create a separate welcome post for each parent category and it's subs. It made my job hours quicker and also made it easy to tweak each one a little to tailor it to the category.

I then used this plugin to keep the welcome posts at the top of their category, but NOT at the top of the front page.

Thanks for the info! So I guess you use the sub-sticky option?

Not sure what you mean by sub-sticky? That second plugin Iisted lets you sticky posts for category views, but they'll drop for your front page view as ads are added.
