    Update!

The Dynamic Multi-Level Fields plugin has been updated to version 1.3.1 to work with ClassiPress 3.2.1. The new version of ClassiPress has a lot of changes to the standard functions related to Post an Ad/Edit Ad forms, they have added filters and actions, and now the plugin uses those to modify the form layout, which will make the latest version incompatible with ClassiPress 3.2. Please make sure you upgrade ClassiPress before upgrading the plugin. Please use "My Account" page to download the latest version of Dynamic Multi-Level Fields plugin.

If you are using an older version (
3.2 or 3.1.9) of ClassiPress, and wish to use the plugin, please go ahead and make the purchase and then reply to the order confirmation email stating your request for an older compatible version, and you will be sent the plugin version compatible with your corresponding ClassiPress version.

    Regards,
    Mohsin

    Hi Mohsin,

Just upgraded to WP 3.5, ClassiPress 3.2.1, and Dynamic Multi-Level Fields Plugin 1.3.1 using clean install.

I get the following message on the home page:

Warning: Missing argument 2 for wpdb::prepare(), called in /home/-----/public_html/wp-content/plugins/dynamic-multi-level-fields/plugged.php on line 52 and defined in /home/-----/public_html/wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 990

    Any suggestions? Tnx Roald

That is the dreaded error that has sprung up in all corners of the WordPress world since WP 3.5 came about. I am releasing another update in the next few minutes to kill this.

Done. Please download the updated version 1.3.2 from My Account page. This has the fix for $wpdb->prepare() error.

The plugin look great. But how do you populate the states and cities? Are these done manually? For the US that would take a quite a bit of time. Or is there some sort of import function?

Also: the $25 discount has expired. Can you post another code?

    Thanks

Thank you. The cities/towns will be a bit of a challenge - there are thousands in the US. Unless the plugin allows it to "learn" cities from previous users and populates the drop-down for future users. Also theses cities would need to be tied into the states - so when they are selected, the plugin knows which cities reside in the state.

    Hi kristopherk,

Not a bad idea about "learning", but a potential drawback would be when listers ad variations in location names or simply misspell them, which will mean those will get added to, and it will be a pain to locate them within a list of thousands of cities.

@bleem, isn't what you have on that post achievable with the Dynamic Multi-Level Fields plugin?

    Regards,
    Mohsin
