i tried this and it worked after a bit of struggle. :P thanks for your help. i noticed a couple of things, how can we prevent the poster to feedback on his own account? also, i noticed that the feedback box does not show up on my admin account but shows up on regular members?

it was created to not allow users to post feedback on their own account. If you're saying it doesn't work, I can look into it. As for your admin account, any accounts created prior to doing this won't have feedback. You should be able to just create a feedback "post" with the name equal to the login of your admin.

JV - I have a small problem which I think is related to a user name format.


JW Audio registered but their feedback page doesn't show their name (permalink = http://stereolist.com/feedback/jw-audio)

I couldn't post feedback to his "account" then I noticed his name isn't listed in "Feedback for ......"

Can you shed any light on this? Is their a way to force new contributers to not use spaces, if that is the source of the problem?

I am trying to get this to work on the new 3.0.5 version.
But I keep getting the 404 error.

Have u gotten this to work on 3.0.5?
Could u clarify the install process a little better. esp. step number 1. perhaps screenshots.

I'm haven't upgraded yet and probably won't for a while.

No I never tried it on the old version. so I am basically starting now

I haven't upgraded to 3.0.5 yet. I'm not sure what, if any, differences there are with the installation.

I'm thinking of creating a dev. site soon. A subfolder, and install wordpress fresh then 3.052 and try to test out how my backup would work to restore from a catastrophic loss. Then tweak 3.052 to look like my current site.
