How about adding Sort by Author/Advertiser? No worries if that is too much or too difficult, just putting it out there.

I installed this on 3.2 but I cannot see it working. The plugin does not seem to show. Are there any other edits I need to make to activate it? It's installed OK but not showing.

PS. I have other ideas too - not so much adding to the sortby list, but more of plugin placement, eg: as well as it working on the homepage and taxonomy pages, for it to work on the search and author pages too - now I am asking too much I should sleep! Mind in overtime
