Any one know is there any flash player which support .avi and .mpeg formats ??

We are trying to find out this to support our clients on more video formats

Update:: Ok.. we found the solution for all Formats of Video ...

We will update this soon and all our current clients who purchased "Audio/video" mod will get free Solution & support. But, it requires FFmpeg on your hosting. Though FFmpeg is not a cheap feature.. we are planning to get a decent solution. Will announce with in couple of days !

Why dont you use HTML 5?? Flash players are on the verge of abomination anyways.

We already done it. But it requires FFmpeg to convert all format videos (except flv & mp4) to .flv and also delete the original one so, user can use their spaces much more...

But.. still if we found another decent solution that would be great ..cause.. 95% shared hosting providers dont support FFmpeg for shared accounts. Though, as hosting provider we(melbweb) are offering here

Ok so I found the plugin online via Melbweb.com, but you require FTP access to install this?
Has anyone else on this forum had this installed and provided their FTP info, who can show it working? It looks like an awesome plugin and I would love to put it to use but why is the access needed? Thanks.
